American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine

American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine and Ascension Providence Hospital have been teaching partners for more than 20 years.  Our program has a solid and long academic history of excellence.  Ascension Providence Hospital is part of a community-based teaching system that merges compassion and patient-centered care with academic expertise and treatment.   Providence belongs to Ascension Health and is one of the largest providers of inpatient care in Michigan.  With more than 190 residents and fellows, 1,400 physicians and over 4,600 nurses located in two different communities, we offer a unique and diverse academic setting for medical students training.

The program provides medical student training in all six core rotations, and offers a total of 36 elective rotations, and 19 Residency and Fellowship ACGME accredited programs.
