Ascension Providence Hospital MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Ascension Providence Hospital undergraduate medical education program has been in place for more than 10 years.  Our program has a solid and long academic history of excellence.  Ascension Providence Hospital is part of a community-based teaching system that merges compassion and patient-centered care with academic expertise and treatment.   Providence belongs to Ascension Health and is one of the largest providers of inpatient care in Michigan.  With more than 190 residents and fellows, 1,400 physicians and over 4,600 nurses located in two different communities, we offer a unique and diverse academic setting for medical students training.

The program provides medical student training in all six core rotations, and offers a total of 36 elective rotations, and 19 Residency and Fellowship ACGME accredited programs.
