Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Cardiovascular Fellowship at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital.

The program accepts 2 fellows per academic year. Candidates from both Osteopathic and Allopathic schools are encouraged to apply. We participate in the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) and the National Resident Match Program (NRMP). 

Candidates interested in apply to the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program are encouraged to submit an application through ERAS. 

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Apply in the PGY3 year from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine program or 
    Graduate of Internal Medicine Residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Submit an application through ERAS
  • Submit CV
  • Three Letters of Recommendations (including one from your current Program Director)

We offer a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology as well which offers 2 positions per year.

The program host two interview dates in October.  Given COVID, the program may host virtual interviews for the 2020 interview cycle.
