Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Head & Neck Oncology, Microvascular & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program

The H&N Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital was found in 2018 by Dr. Carlos Ramirez, DDS, FACS.

The program accepts two trainees per academic year and is in the process of applying for accreditation through the Commission on Dental Accreditation. 

Fellowship Applicants must be physicians who are in or have completed an OMFS US Residency Accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation or have graduated from an International OMFS program.

Applications are accepted beginning August 1st of each academic year.

-Curriculum Vitae
-Personal Statement
-Three letters of recommendation (must include one from your Residency Program Director)
-Residency Case Log to include all years of residency 


Resident Benefits

Yearly stipend to cover the cost of textbooks, computer every three years, courses, required program conferences and food stipend to use at all Ascension hospitals.  Ascension offers a competitive salary.
