Saroj Misra, DO, FACOFP

Dr. Misra is a Board Certified Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Physician and the Program Director for the Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center, Family Medicine Residency Program.  Dr. Misra has practiced medicine since 2001, specializing in Women's Health, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Depression/Anxiety, and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment for disease processes and chronic pain.  Dr. Misra seeks to ensure every patient is cared for in a manner that considers all elements related to the body, mind, and spirit for promotion for wellness or treatment of disease. Academically, Dr. Misra promotes an educational culture of 'learning without fear' and strives to ensure all learners are both listened to and heard.  Dr. Misra graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO.  He completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center and a Primary Care Teaching Fellowship at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Misra is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Practice, the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, the Statewide Campus System, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. He is also Vice Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center.
