Welcome to Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Initially, our program began with Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center in 1972. It was a merger of two Detroit Hospitals - Zieger Hospital and Art Centre Hospital.  The program currently resides at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and is an integral part of Southeast Michigan since March of 1966.

Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital is a teaching hospital and is designated as a medical education partner with Michigan State University college of Osteopathic Medicine, Statewide Campus System. We have student affiliation agreements with both Kansas City University of Medicine & Bioscience College of Osteopathic Medicine and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
