"Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ascension Health Providence Hospital. Our departmental mission is to provide a high-quality, state-of-the-art patient experience and provide our residents and medical students with an outstanding and thorough education. The Department is comprised of full and part-time generalist and subspecialist faculty, as well as 20 residents (4 per year level). The Department is organized into four main divisions: general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine and urogynecology. We offer patient-centered care for both complicated and uncomplicated pregnancies, as well as a host of various benign and malignant gynecologic conditions. We are proud to have a core of faculty offering up-to-date techniques, including minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Our Residency Training Program, under the direction of Dr. Robert Dodds, provides a wide range of clinical and didactic experiences, as well as exposure to research opportunities. Residents rotate through all OB-GYN specialties, including reproductive endocrinology, with board-certified faculty. Residents also participate in rotations through Family Medicine, ICU and Breast Health. To further explore our residency program, utilize the 'Residency Program' navigation tool.
