Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program is a six-year, postdoctoral program fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, under the leadership of Dr. Carlos Ramirez, board certified Maxillofacial Head & Neck Surgeon with specialized training in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Ramirez along with staff provide exceptional learning expertise that prepare residents of the program to sit for qualifying boards. We accept 3 residents per year.
Our program consist of four full-time faculty, One part-time faculty and twenty private practice practitioners. Each member of the team contributes specific clinical expertise to enhance the program educational learning experience.
Residents of our program are driven and work as team to excel in the field of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
